What we fix

When an oven will not reach temperature, the cause is usually one of a short list: an igniter on gas ovens, a bake or broil element on electric ones, the temperature sensor, or the control board that runs them. We test each part with a meter so you are not paying for guesses.

We work on Wolf, Thermador, Miele, Viking, Monogram, Gaggenau, Dacor, Bosch and KitchenAid wall ovens, including steam ovens that need descaling and water system repairs.

Questions people ask

My oven runs 25 degrees off. Is that a repair?

A few degrees is normal. If baking results have changed or the oven is off by 25°F or more, the sensor or the control usually needs attention. We test the sensor and can recalibrate on many models.

Is self-clean bad for my oven?

The very high heat of a self-clean cycle is a common moment for an element, a lock or a control to fail. If your oven is older, a wipe-down or steam-clean cycle is gentler.

How much does a service call cost?

The service call is $79. It covers the trip and a full diagnosis. If you go ahead with the repair, the $79 is waived.

Will I know the price before you start?

Yes. After the diagnosis your technician gives you the repair price. Nothing is done until you approve it.
