What we fix
Slow drying is most often airflow: a restricted vent makes any dryer run long and hot. We check the airflow first, then the heating side: igniter and gas valve coils on gas dryers, the element and thermal fuse on electric ones.
Heat pump dryers like the Miele T1 work differently. They need clean lint filters and a clean heat exchanger, and we service those too.

It can be. Lint buildup in a restricted vent is a leading cause of dryer fires. If your dryer is hot to the touch or takes more than one cycle, stop using it until the vent and dryer are checked.
